Getting the equipment
I'll recommend what your child needs and help you find the best route: NHS or council services, your child's school, a charity or buying privately.
Wheelchairs and complex postural seating come from NHS wheelchair services. I'm happy to support a referral.
For bigger changes such as a ramp or level-access shower, your council's Disabled Facilities Grant can help. For children under 18, parents' income isn't taken into account. The council usually arranges its own OT assessment, and my report can help explain your child's needs.
